TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

We proudly offer comprehensive training to all our staff to ensure they are equipped with the correct knowledge and skills to carry out their jobs effectively day-to-day.

Our staff are also required to demonstrate their ability to effectively carry out their duties to the Care Quality Commission on a regular basis. We hope this also offers peace of mind to friends and family that those in need are being cared for by the most highly qualified and competent individuals.

We want our staff to feel confident and happy that they can do their jobs to the best of their ability, as well as be willing to take on new challenges when necessary. A positive attitude means our care home residents will also receive a positive experience, which is our number one priority.

OUR TRAINING FOCUSES ON

HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

We offer many different training courses including: Being a Key Worker, Mental Capacity Act, Rights, Dignity & Respect, Nutrition & Diet, Dying, Death and Bereavement.

SAFEGUARDING

We want our residents to receive the best care and be in the best hands, so we offer Safeguarding Adults at Risk and Deprivation of Liberty training courses.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Making sure our residents are healthy and safe is our priority. You can attend the following training courses: Food Hygiene, Fire Safety Awareness and Infection Control.

COMMUNICATION

Making sure we can communicate as a team and with our residents is vital. We offer the following courses: Effective Communication and Record Keeping.
