            Tracey Thomson

Tracey has worked at East View Housing for 5 years as a residential sector manager. Tracey manages 3 houses within the sector.

Tracey has worked with adults with a learning disability for about 34 years, 22 of those years for East Sussex County Council ( 10 years as a manager). Tracey started her career in adult social care as a support worker, moving on to undertake qualifications in management and training. Tracey has been involved in many projects over the years, both Nationally and Internationally  involving adults with learning disabilities.

Tracey is committed to ensuring that the people who have chosen to live in our homes have the best life, with choices and opportunities.

Tracey lives with her husband and 2 cats, she loves to go on holidays to hot places, lounge in her hot tub, read books and spend time with her grandson. Tracey and her husband are complete ‘foodies’ and have been lucky enough to eat in some of the best restaurants in the world!

             Sarah Craske

Sarah started her career in care in various residential homes as a support worker.

Sarah then commenced employment as an activity organiser for a day service for people with Learning Disabilities, during this employment Sarah progressed to senior, Team leader and finally Manager in 2005.

During her employment at the day services Sarah completed her training to achieve the level 4 Registered Managers award.

In 2009 Sarah began her  employment with East View Housing LTD as a Registered Manager for three residential homes, a position which she thoroughly enjoys and is very proud to be part of.

When not at work Sarah enjoys spending time with her three children and supporting her partner who is a Sgt in the Royal Marines attending various functions. 

             Lorna Pilkington

Lorna has worked in adult social care since 18 years old, her career started at a local day service working with adults that she had known all her life, unfortunately the day service closed and Lorna found herself looking for a new challenge within the industry.

Lorna started working for East View Housing in 2008 as a deputy manager, and immediately found that she loved working within a residential environment with the people that she was supporting. Lorna feels she has been fortunate with opportunities within East View Housing, having progressed within her development to become a registered manager of a small service whilst also completing her level 5 diploma for Management of Residential Services.

Lorna is now managing two large services within the company, developing and adapting the services to meet the residents changing needs as they come into their older years.

Outside of work Lorna enjoys caring for her family and spending time with a close circle of friends, she has a keen interest in visiting National Trust sites in the region as well as the local history of our historic town.

               Sarah Rickaby

Sarah started working in Adult Social Care in 1995 and was working in Respite and Residential services, alongside this she was studying Health and Social Care at the local college.  Her career started as a Support Worker in a large care service which supported adults with needs that challenge; It wasn’t long before she had worked her way to the position of Senior Support Worker and then to Deputy Manager. Not long after, Sarah became a Registered Manager of a 15-bed service in Kent in 2002, where she gained further qualifications in care and management during this time.

In 2009 Sarah returned to work and was employed as a Manager at East View Housing at 51 Chapel Park Road. She has since built strong professional relations with a wide range of health professionals over the years promoting the ethos of a ‘home for life’ for her residents as their individual needs change. She is very passionate about her role in Residential Care and strives to ensure all of the services offer the best possible care and support to those who reside within her sector.

In early 2019 Sarah extended her role to manage 368 The Ridge as an additional service to 51 Chapel Park Road, this has given her the opportunity to continue her own personal development within Adult Social Care as well as mentoring a committed and passionate team.

In her spare time Sarah enjoys the outdoor life of camping with her partner and their children, spending many a wet and windy weekend in Wales as well as glorious hot sunny spells! Being out in the open, under canvas gives her the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy time with her family!
